One of the unexpected results of Denver’s hot real estate market and numerous renovations and new builds is seeing the latest trends in home design. Over the last year, barn doors are making a very big appearance in many of these new homes. Although, these barn doors have a very modern look and feel versus the barn doors found in an actual barn.

Sliding barn doors are a sleek addition to a home. They can be used to separate any room in a home – a bathroom, master bedroom, study, playroom, laundry room and/or children’s room. Ascetically, they add great form and clean lines to a home.  The doors can take on many different looks in a room.

What do you think? Would you put a sliding barn door in your home? If so, what room would you put it in?
