Food Choice Dining Eating Event Festive Buffet Concept

I never really appreciated Brunch until I moved to Denver. Surprisingly, New Hampshire isn’t really big on the Brunch scene. But Denver loves its Brunch. Most restaurants throughout the city offer a great Brunch, which can be quite overwhelming. I am here to tell you some of my favorite spots to get Brunch.

Snooze.

I am embarrassed to say that it took close to three years to get to Snooze. It is a staple in Denver. There are many locations – Downtown, Union Station and Colorado Blvd. Snooze offers breakfast all day but you can also find lunch items. The menu is incredibly extensive and the specials are typically to die for.

Racines.

Founded over thirty years ago, Racines is a classic. Racine’s is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the sprawling restaurant is typically so busy that they need to offer vallet parking. The restaurant has the ability to seat over 325 people, including the outside seating. Often an experience, you can often see many Dendrites here, ranging from the neighbors to people in the city government. On the menu is American food and a bit of Mexican and a total of five Bloody Mary’s to choose from for brunch.

Sassafras.

Influenced by Southern American comfort food, Sassafras offers both breakfast and lunch from scratch. The menu includes dishes like Fried Catfish or Chicken, Louisiana Pot Pie, Po Boys, Cajun Benedict and Shrimp and Grits. Sassafras never disappoints! Now with two locations in the city – Cap Hill and Jefferson Park you can get even more of this great food!

Root Down.

“Root Down aims to connect the
neighborhood to a dining experience in the
same way ingredients are connected to food.”

Root Down does every meal well and brunch is no exception. Root Down creates their take classic breakfast choices, such as Benedicts and omelettes.  My favorite? The Huckleberry French Toast: Banana Bread, broken shovel farm’s Lemon Goat Yogurt, Huckleberry Syrup, Pepita & Pasilla Chili Crumble. Enjoy your brunch with endless mimosas.

Linger.

In case you can’t get into Root Down, just down the street is Linger. Perfect for brunch lovers or not, the brunch menu here is a mixture of both breakfast and lunch items. The drunken ramen is always a fix-all for Saturday and Sundays. Looking for something sweeter? Go for the nutella waffle, is will not disappoint!

This weekend run (don’t walk) to any of these locations and enjoy brunch with your friends. You will not go wrong with any of these restaurants. Let me know what you order!
