giving thanks.

With Thanksgiving just two days away, we thought it was a superb time for giving thanks. This year has been chaotic, awesome, stressful and full of change. Nonetheless, here are a few things that I am giving thanks for this season.

  • Clients, friends and family. It has been a busy year with clients entrusting us to help buy and sell a home. We have had the opportunity to meet some great people that are now considered friends and have had the opportunity to help both family and friends buy and sell their homes. As always, we sincerely appreciate people’s trust in us and our business. There is nothing else we would rather do than help client’s buy, sell and create a home of their dreams.
  • A HOME. Of course, Liz had a home before but now she has a HOME. Sure, the location is different and the space is smaller but what makes it home are the people in it (one adult and one furry).
  • Creativity. We love to create and build things and there is nothing like buying a home that needs a little elbow grease to get our creativity working on overdrive. Some people run, bike, ski, etc. to blow off steam, we create things.
  • Health. It has been a lot of work but Liz is finally feeling much better. It is still continual work but she is feeling the healthiest and strongest that she has felt in quite some time.
  • Family that put down roots in Colorado. We were lucky enough to work with family this year who bought a home in Metro Denver. Although, there is always talk about them not staying long term a home in this state makes us think it is might be a longer commitment. 🙂
  • Perspective. We can’t help but acknowledge how truly blessed we are today and every day. Our hearts go out to those less fortunate, including,  many people in California that will find themselves without a home from the fires.
  • You! While we are giving thanks, we can not forget you. If you are reading this, we are incredibly grateful for you. Thank you for everything you do through the year, whether it is reading our newsletters, referring friends and/or family, trusting us with your own home purchase and/or sale or simply being the great person you are!

We have so much to give thanks for this season and every season. What are you giving thanks for? We hope you are able to pause and give thanks for the things you have with family and friends this Thanksgiving.

“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”
