This is a great holiday to take time and not only give thanks but reflect. I am so thankful for where I am in life – Denver, a new career, close to family and so many other blessings! I hope each and every one of you get the opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones during this holiday.
This is my first Thanksgiving in Denver (actually the first holiday in Denver) so it will be a little different but good nonetheless. See, my family is very close and every single holiday we spend together. This Thanksgiving we will not be together but were lucky enough to celebrate last week. I have found I am not the only one in Denver to be family-less this Thanksgiving as there are so many transplants. It seems many people’s Thanksgivings are with friends rather than families here. How grateful am I to have friends that are willing to take me in and share their holiday with me?
