Take a ride through Denver’s history on the Platte River Trolley which just opened for its  2016 season. Hop on the open trolley at Confluence Park right by REI and stop at the Denver AquariumChildren’s Museum and Mile High Stadium.  On the ride, your trolley driver will tell you a bit about the history of Denver. Some of the other things you will see and learn about on your ride include:

Confluence Park, on the South Platte River, where Denver was founded. REI‘s flagship store in the old Tramway powerhouse. Elitch Gardens amusement & water park. Downtown Aquarium DenverThe Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus Sports Authority Field at Mile High (Home of the Denver Broncos).  Colorado Sports Hall of Fame * (located at Sports Authority Field at Mile High). Downtown Denver in an ever changing panorama. RTD (Regional Transportation District) bus routes and nearby Light Rail

Head to the Platte River Trolley for more information on the trolley, fares and schedules. Also, do not forget the Platte River Trolly during Broncos season as it is a great alternative to transportation to Mile High Stadium for a game!
